TESDA employees and scholars of the RAC Servicing (DomRAC) NC II program recently participated in an enlightening Basic Life Support (BLS) Seminar. The event, which took place on May 26, 2023, was conducted by esteemed healthcare professional Mr. Reynold H. Generoso, RN, CEMT, CNN, CCCN, MAN.
The BLS Seminar served as a vital opportunity for participants to acquire essential knowledge and skills in providing immediate care during life-threatening emergencies. With Mr. Generoso's extensive expertise as a registered nurse (RN) and his additional certifications as a Certified Emergency Medical Technician (CEMT), Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN), Certified Critical Care Nurse (CCCN), and possessing a Master of Arts in Nursing (MAN), attendees were able to learn from an experienced and highly qualified instructor.
Throughout the seminar, participants were introduced to fundamental BLS techniques, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), airway management, and the proper utilization of automated external defibrillators (AEDs). These life-saving skills are crucial in situations such as cardiac arrest and choking, where immediate intervention can make a significant difference in a person's survival.
